About
Hi there! I’m Jackson Pennington, a second-year college student double majoring in Animation and Development at Ohio University. My journey in animation and design began with a fascination for storytelling and character design. I'm passionate about creating characters and engaging animations that connect with audiences visually, whether that be through hand-drawn 2D animation, rigged 2D animation, character designs, or digital illustrations.
Through my studies and work, I've developed a strong foundation in understanding animation, and working with digital and traditional tools. I love experimenting with different stylizations and mediums to see how the audience interacts. I am always seeking new ways to improve and grow as an artist.
When I’m not actively animating or illustrating, I can be found practicing 3D animation, watching and studying animated films, or taking videos and pictures for later references in my works. I look forward to growing and working within the animation and design industries, and I can’t wait to learn from collaborating with other creators.
Feel free to view my portfolio to see some of my recent projects. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate!
